Israelis Allowed To Bypass Security Screenings

According to former U.S.

Secretary of Homeland

Security JANET NAPOLITANO,

the U.S. has embarked on a

“GLOBAL ENTRY PROGRAM"

with Israel, allowing frequent

visitors from the country to travel

to and enter the U.S., bypassing

TSA, DHS, Immigration and

Customs security screenings by

simply filling out a

questionnaire and scanning

their passport.

While Israel is not the only country to be granted Global Entry by the U.S., they are, however, the first and only one who has not been required to reciprocate the gesture for U.S. citizens who are conversely traveling to THEIR country.

Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister ZE’EV ELKIN urged the U.S. to grant Israelis this privilege.
